Camps & Camps is een Nederlands sieradenmerk uit Blerick. We ontwerpen zelf en stellen daarnaast een collectie samen van ontwerpers uit Frankrijk, Italië en Spanje. Onze sieraden zijn nikkelvrij en anti-allergisch, en twee keer per jaar komt er een nieuwe seizoenscollectie bij.
Ine's mother makes jewellery at home and opens a shop with it in the centre of Blerick. Ine learns the craft at her workbench; later Ine and Raymond take over the business. Raymond works part-time alongside his job with the police — in those years almost no man did that — and it is precisely that which allows Camps & Camps to be built.
At a trade fair in Paris, Ine approaches designers from southern Europe. That leads to the importership for two French fashion designers. Italian and Spanish designers follow later.
A permanent showroom at the Trade Mart in Utrecht, where retailers see the collection in real life. Shortly afterwards de Bijenkorf becomes a customer.
The focus shifts entirely to design, import and supplying retailers.

Camps is my maiden name. At home we were all daughters, so otherwise that name would have disappeared
Ine on where the name comes from
Our jewellery is designed in our own studio. For every design we keep searching for the colour, the shape and the finish until it is right.
The components — crystal, beads, clasps — come from craftspeople in Italy, Spain, Germany and France. In our workshop in the Netherlands they are worked into jewellery by hand. Everything is nickel-free and hypoallergenic.
There are ten of us: field sales, workshop, administration and social media. In the workshop, jewellery is made, finished and repaired — by hand, at the same kind of workbench where it all once began.
That is also why we can still repair or re-plate something for you when a piece needs freshening up years later.
Our jewellery is stocked by concept stores, florists and jewellers throughout the Netherlands. Twice a year we show the new collection in our showroom at the Trade Mart in Utrecht.
